World Leadership Pride..(An Elegy for Mandela) Part 1

-give it to him, madiba
-the radiant brazing scissors
-that cuts down the giant forests of apatheid
-and racial segregation
-he stood not for south africa alone
-but the whole world of the oppressed
-and the outcast who bears thier name with shame
-so he lived for their cause to give them smiles
-what can we really say of him, mandela,
-the man that gives rare humility
-in service to humanity
-the umcommon sacrifice to offer oneself
-for one's generations freedom
-the only celebrated man who lived
-in the minds of the the whole world
-with the charisma, character and doggedness
-of a passionate steadfast leader
-that cries often with the poor
-but refuses to laugh with the rich
-he is the century's hero
-give it to him, all the honour of the greatest
-He is Mandela!..He is Amandla!!..He is madiba!!!
