Words

Hurtful words come out of the mouth
They cannot be taken back
I do not take offense
So I can stay on track
But things will be different
From this day on
I will not be hurt again
Nor will I be wronged
Forgive and forget is what we are taught
That has already been done
But the lesson learned needs to stay
So the lesson happens only once
