Wishful

I'd like to live a kind of life on my own preferences
to wake up in the morning;scent of nature that greets
chirping of the birds; cracking of the creeks I hear
and the whistle of the wind brings music to my ears.
I'd like to build a home made of love and compassion
strengthened by faith, understanding, full of respect;
and in mid-crisis does not fail or easily gives up
neither beast nor man ever dare bring temptation.
I'd like to be the best I can be; none can stop me-
be somebody that my family would be proud to know
if it's impossible to do, I'll try my best to have;
in my heart their happiness'more than anything to me.
I'd like to see everything beautiful as t'was before-
the World was young, blessed of God's gift to mankind
without ironies of war, disaster, tumultuous fates;
every place was a safe haven for all; rich or poor.
I wish that is easy as wishing rain during dry season
after all, what I'd wished is always for those I love
then, if something I'd wished to be, fails in the end;
won't grumble on my knees; be grateful of what I own.
