Wish I could be like the birds

Today I came home to get my heart hurt again
By someone who I thought truly loved me so

But I was mistaken for she truly doesn't at all
It's all about her and no one matters at all

Wish I could be just like the birds
They throw their young out the nest is what I heard

To teach them to be on their own early in life
