Winter's Love

White sparks compliment your eyes
As they dance around your face.
And though you can't see it,
My heart begins to race.

Tufts of brown grass
Flaw the white quartz
And as the wind tussles my hair,
We build snow forts.

Your breathe against
My frost-bitten cheeks
Entangles me in happiness
And when your eyes meet mine it seems like weeks.

Your green scarf brushes my cheek,
As we sing like we're in glee.
And with you I feel so warm,
As we sit under the big willow tree.

The ravens walk upon our path,
As we kick our foot-prints to and fro.
And the snowy background
Makes your eyes glow.

Icy chill fills my warm boots,
As snow falls in and melts.
And when you smile,
Your teeth spread across your face like belts.

And even when there's no music,
We have our winter waltz.
And when we're together,
We have no faults.

You rap me in
Your smile's embrace,
And the setting's perfect
In this wooded place.

In our own winter wonderland
We're alone, completely alone,
And together we'll stay
In this love we have sewn.
