Why?

Why do we fight over things that are not there? If I were in your shoes, would you like to feel the same way as I? Over many times, I have listen to you. But now all I hear is nothing, this black cloud above me is raining really hard. I can hear the sounds of footsteps walking closer to me. And the voices are getting to my head. (I can't stand this any more)

So everything is clear as can be. What just happened to me?

Am I standing on the ground? Because I feel like I am flying

This open sky is open; no one else is up here. Just only me.

I can feel you from a million miles away. Even I can hear you from here.

There is so many faces and so many people that I love.
I know that they're in my heart forever in time.
So this is my goodbye, for now.

Max Hornbogen

My name is Max D. Hornbogen and I live in Marquette Michigan all my life. When I started writing it was during my brothers graduation from high school. I really don't know the year. Now I am 22 years old, while I was growing up my dad died in a car accident during the winter. Some of my pomes are about him, a lot of my others ones are personal. Most of them deal with everyday life and the struggles that I deal with. Also some of them are kind of dark, but I do have a wide variety of everything. The one thing that I love the most out of my writing is that it is an outlet, it's like my own world. I get to say whatever I want. I love music of all kinds, also it's another reason I love writing my poems. I always study lyrics by other music artist that are out there. Also I got to have music on while I write my poems.I have been writing 5 years so far more…
