Who's The Wisest

I want to do something,
maybe I can,
but I am afraid,
to fail for sure,
failure is something I can not endure.

I gave myself a talking too,
when I got through,
I knew what I had to do.
I had to have faith,
and overcome my fears,
before Weird appears.

I started back a long way,
so I can get a great headstart,
I postioned myself straight,
to run really fast,
when I saw some people
having a picnic on the grass.
I was curious,
I could hear them boast,
over who has faith the most.

I walked over, and sat down,
folded my legs, indian style,
and listened to them for awhile.

One said "My faith is the best,
because of my knowledge,
that life is a test.
You run around thinking,
life is a game,
and faith is the luck,
and that's why your faith is stuck."

Said another
"You don't know me brother.
My faith can do all things.
That is what having faith means."

One person said
"The application of faith
is what makes it strong.
If you're not using it my way then you're just wrong."

"My faith is not wrong!" shouted the
one who had spoken first. "Faith is
most strong where it hits you at home.
as far as my faith is concerned,
I'm here to say. I invite you to come
to my house. I insist that you stay,
to eat with us and hear how we pray.
Everyone is welcome I push no one away,
You can come bye, anytime any day.

Then suddenly
the second speaker noticed me.
The third asked the first,
"Who is she?"
They all looked serious to me,
with their narrow brow,
and their faces straight,
"you have sat patiently and listened,
to us debate. We want to know who is
the most wise so tell us about your faith."
I stood up straight,
"As for my faith, I am going to jump the Rainbow Gate!"

My name is Isabella, My life is something wonderful. I am a person who is truely all wild about life. My passions are fine dinning, classical music, world travel, art and design, my greatest passion of all is freedom. My favorite authors and poets include but are not limited to Lord Francis Bacon, Hafiz, Omar Khayam, J.M.Barrie,Shakespear,Dr.Seuss, Lorca,...the list is so long. My ultimate goal is to transcend the dead, by that I mean become one of the Legends, while I'm still living. On get readers who only read the dead poets to be all excited over me. Yet my immediate hopes is to click at all in the poetry scene, to be loved, by all who read me. That is more to me than chocolate covered strawberries. That is more to me than ice cream with crunched up cookies. Yet,I crave honesty, criticism helps me perfect my artistry. Compliments are thrilling and my greatest hopes is to be only a pleasure to read. Welcome to my world of Poetry I will be opening up to you with all I have inside of me. Here is my heart in word shape, from a passion for life I can not excape. more…
