Where are they?

Looking steadily far
Watching the night birds fly,
Colorful twinkling stars,
Around the gloomy moon,
While the dark clouds passes by.

Past memory engulfs my mind
Where are the footsteps
That I left behind?
Where are the sights
That passed my eyes.

Where are the girls
I loved before?
Hope they're fine
And doing well
A part of me,
They will ever be.

Carlito R. Dela Casa

I'm a Master of management and a businessman, but poetry is among my passions. I write poems of my life, of society, of our environment, of varied perspectives…almost everything in this world... trying to be fair, to be real, trying to give good values and lessons. Trying to raise those who had fallen. This is the real me. Always in good faith, but sometimes misunderstood. more…
