When We're Well
When we're well our days seem swell
and stars shine in our eyes.
When we're sick our days seem thick
and stars fall from our skies.
When we're blithe our moves seem lithe
and music swings our dance.
When we're dense our moves seem tense
and music sways our chance.
When we're sure our tales seem pure
and scalpels sculpt our hope.
When we're meek our tales seem weak
and scalpels cut our rope.
When we're light our minds seem bright
and visions spur our styles.
When we're stark our minds seem dark
and visions blur our wiles.
When we're young our songs seem sung
and masters weave our loom.
When we're old our songs seems told
and masters wilt our bloom.
