When The Pain Is Too Much

When the pain is too much, just look in the mirror and remember that you're still alive.
They can all cut you down as much as they want but you're strong and know how to survive.
They say that they love you, they say that they care, then stab you right in heart.
But, you've got to realize that's society for you, it's been that way from the start.
They'll call you a fool, and say that you're mad, a loony, a kook, and insane.
Yet you can look back and laugh in their face because at least you have half a brain.
To know that when the pain is too much, to walk tall, and lift up your head.
Because as much as it hurts, it could always be worse, you could be 8 ft under and dead.
