When it’s raining outside
Is the sky crying?
Did she read someone’s mind
Resort to suicide – refrain from trying?

Did she live amongst men
Or did she stand amongst people
Reside in a bend
Between good and evil

Was she shocked by the sights
Scared by the sounds
Stripped of her rights
Then forced down to the ground – The Ground

The Ground she never wished to see it again
Never again would she re-bend a bend
The colors of life now faded to tan
Withered and washed through a bath in the sand

Her shoulder is turned
But the cold has not come
Their souls are still burned
To No Kingdom Come

Maybe one day she will change her mind
On that very day it will be raining outside.
