When I Am Old And Gray

When I am Old and Gray
I will drink tea from a china cup
I will sip from it, and hold my pinkie up
When I am old and gray

When I am old and gray
I will take my time waking up
I will brush my hair and fluff the pup
Brew coffee with a pick me up
When I am old and gray

When I am old and gray
I will wear clothes that do not fray
and give the others all away
I will wear sneakers without laces
take photo's of smiling faces
When I am old and gray

When I am old and gray
I will put on comfy clothes
and wear sandles with painted toes
when I am old and gray

Today and old friend stopped by
we sat together and ate apple pie
we laughed until we began to cry
we drank tea from a china cup
while lifting both our pinkies up
Our faces now were wrinkled and puffed up
And, we both are old and gray
