What vile plague like rancid sore suspends me

What Vile plague, like rancid sore
Suspends me, so I plead the Lord,
Those fruitless wails that nowhere soar,
See, scissors dangle at life's cord.
And I who thirst, tortured await
Capricious whims of one eyed Fate!

Maudlin sobs ring through the air,
Soft symphonies of sombre sounds
That strikes mine heart with much despair.
Carolling love of endless bounds:
Halt your warbling sorrows, rejoice!
May mirth dye the timbre of voice.

Oh sing a blissful melody
That tenderly strokes mine ears,
Like sirens of old who sweetly
Guide the way to dankest fears.
Deluge thou mellifluous wine,
A euphonic draught, most sublime.

Still I will mourn the blood drench'd sky
That seeps into abyssful blue,
Mine fetid wound will weep and cry,
Fester and bleed dear sanguine hue.
Pallid, I'm swath'd in velvet night,
Seraphic stars restore delight.

Opaque resplendence, here I dwell
Embalmed by serene quiescence,
Abound will I to Fate's death knell,
Sepulchral bells that chime of nascence.
My Elegy births in infant morn'-
Whispered wind whips, 'cross wistful dawn.

I'm a 17 year old high school student who has a lot to say and poetry as a tool to say it! I hope you enjoy what I have written- there is not much there but its hard to juggle casual poetry with study for exams- so hopefully more in the future more…
