What True Love Really Means

Love is such a strange emotion,
We all seem to go through the motion.
Never really knowing, it sometimes seems,
Of just what true love really means.
We always give our hearts so free,
The pain that comes we never see.
And when it comes to our door,
We swear to love never more.
But when we find the love we need,
No longer is the ground fertile for the seed.
That's when we find ourselves forever alone,
Never really understanding, what we already know.
That love is such a precious emotion,
We never should just go through the motion.
Of living, of loving, or of just being free,
Of being able to love you or me.
So we must remember what true love really means.
Even when love sometimes seems,
A little crazy or out of touch.
Just remember love means too much.
