What lies beneath
What lies below
This cold exterior
Of frosted snow
A fire burns inside
That cannot be contained
A flame I cannot hide
Burns on glistening coals
A spark, a flicker, a light
Warm and soft it grows
And with a ferocity it fights
To escape and burn through the snow
So fight on, yon flicker
Don't give up, lone flame
For in this wide world
A soul seeks out your name
