What is Pain

What is pain?
Watching a loved one suffer? Watching them fade away in front of you?
Knowing you can do nothing to stop the process?
Realizing the process is not going to stop?

Is it to bare witness? is it to ignore?
Is it to want to take away the feelings?
What is pain?
When there is no tangible evidence of hurt?
Pain is living, watching, being, seeing, feeling..
Pain is life.
