Have you ever stopped and wondered
what if

what if I stayed
what if I just took a leap of faith
what if I can never love another they way I love him
what if we were meant to be

would it be different
would it just be him and me

or

what if I was not meant to stay
what if this is not where I am meant to be
what if the love we share is nothing more then lust
what if we were never meant to be

would it be different
would it just be me

I have stayed when I was meant to go
and I have went when I was meant to stay

but this time it was not me
who went or stayed
so now I am left to always wonder
what if

what if I only flew across that see
in the arms of the one my heart desires
what if I made him see
what he truly meant to me
what if I opened my heart completely
and loved him with out doughs and fears
what if he and I were truly meant to be

would it be different

or
would it be the same
and only be me
