We Often Feign The Unknown

A vacuum in our knowledge leaves a hollow place
We often feign the unknown to fill an empty space

What keeps faith in tragedy hides in mystic souls
We often feign the unknown to validate our goals

What lets calm in forgiveness hides in quiet peace
We often feign the unknown to envision surcease

What shifts gears in misery hides in buoyant hope
We often feign the unknown only to help us cope

What takes place in afterlife hides in mystery
We often feign the unknown to construct history

What gives strength in stamina hides in fortitude
We often feign the unknown to maintain attitude

What stirs love in everyone hides in chemistry
We often feign the unknown to improve registry
