we have lived and loved together

we have lived and loved together through manly years'
we have shared each other's gladnest and wept each other's tears;
i have known never a sorrow that was long unsoothed by thee;
for the smiles can make a summer
where darknest else would be'
like the leaves that fall around us in autumn's fading hours'
are the traitors smiles ' that darken my soil of life'
when the cloud of sorrow's lower's my heart for my true love'
as many we felt true love an we;ve know it well
to prone 'at last to rome the range of the hill of love'
we both can speak of on love'
which time can never change
we have live and loved together through many changeing years;
we have shared each other's gladnest
and wept each other tear's
and let us hope the fucture well bring
as the past has been let it be'
i will share with thee my sorrows;
and tho thy joys with me
