We Cannot Stand Apart

A knife cannot cut itself
however sharp the blade.
The object and function are of each other made.
An eye cannot see itself
however keen the sight.
The object and function are of each other right.
A soul cannot hide itself
however grand the veer.
The object and function are of each other peer.
A hand cannot grip itself
however firm the hold.
The object and function are of each other mold.
A man cannot leave Deus
however the intent.
The object and function are of each other meant.
A pathway cannot be found:
we are already there.
The object and function are of each built aware.
