Watch Who Is Over Your Heads

Hear the coming footsteps; first the silence
then the thunder in the far distance
coming over your heads; you must watch...

Hear the coming footsteps; fear them
fear them as you do your death
listen to the fear in what you hear
thundering footsteps chasing you; too.

How deep will you dwell at that; too
how will you hide your head in your hands
how too will you keep away the sounds
of that thundering stomping over your head.

Nowhere; thay where; in which you're sleeping
closing your souls to that which is right
out there, that where, under the sun, is where
your being should be watching what's done.

Who is the something, this someone overhead
Watching, waiting for your souls to turn
burning, intense, through all your thoughts
it's you! wanting to walk in righteousness.
