W.R.I.T.I.N.G

Juliette Aurora 1997 (USA)

Wraps up my feelings and thoughts
Rage is surely trapped and caught
Internally teaches people a lesson
Throws away the darkness of depression
Is something that brings me whole
Night and day does it save me from the cold
Glows eternally in the heart

It's a poem solemnly bringing the idea of escapism. Being afraid of facing cruelties of society, one may hide beyond reality and weave a home with a beauty of letters. In fact, the poem is the outcome of deep thoughts and evokes readers' deep thoughts. It's a wonderful poem that instigates creativity, if read in early ages.
