Vincent Van Gogh's Sunflowers Beg For Water

Sunflowers:

Come on Vincent. Please give us some water?
We have been here for ages and we need a drink.

Vincent hums to himself as he doodles faces
Onto the back of his hand. Licking them off
And then merrily doing some more.
He hasn't eaten for awhile. He considers
Painting an orange before returning to his quest
Of finding the right funny face to be his next meal ticket.

Sunflowers:

Vincent! Water please?

The sunflowers wilt despair but try again.

Sunflowers:

Vincent. We are over here.
Please just glance at us and you
will see our desperate need for nourishment.

Vincent:

What. Mmm, must be hearing things.

Vincent continues passing time.
His ear starts itching.
But he ignores it and just hums louder.

Sunflowers:

You crazy fucking cunt. We are dying here
And all you can do is doodle and hum toneless shite.
Well f*ck you then. But you will remember us eventually.
It will be too late then though. We will be dead.
You heartless deaf bastard. I hope you are happy now.

Vincent pokes a finger into his ear
And digs deep at the itch,
In doing so a large clump of earwax
Sticks to his finger. He looks at it and smiles.

Vincent:

I need a piss. Best go and water the old toilet then.

Vincent doesn't even look
At the sunflowers
As he casually walks past them
With a shit-eating grin
Plastered over his face.

Sunflowers:

Twat!
