Victims of Love (Poem No. 584)
She throws away her dignity,
And place herself as a perfect prey.
She pulled down the high massive wall
That protected her from any fall.
She let him prance through an open door;
And let her fragile treasure throw it on the floor.
She gave all her sentiments and trust,
To someone she doesn't know that much;
Leaving her with a sore broken heart.
She was just used as mean time sweetheart,
As a stepping stone to his next catch.
She fall on her knees
With tears streaming down on her chicks;
Her heart shattered into thousand pieces,
I told her, "You can't cry on the spilled milk."
"Arise and change your life style,
"Be More careful next time"
Re-route your heart's desire."
Remember this:
"Easy to get is easy to forget".
"When you fall you shall stand".
"And don't forget to look up this time"!
"And when a new one comes from a good clan,
Lower the wall carefully and this time have a perfect plan".
"Step carefully in order to go forward successfully",
"Making sure he's the right one that will stay";
"And taking you to the altar of Matrimony".
At last she found relief, and thank me for it.
We closed... with prayer; we departed in peace,
With the assurance of God's amazing perfect grace.
