Veni, vidi, vici

I came. I saw. I conquered.
And Caesar? I am one.
I built vast metallic rails,
Across the grasses,
And departed bloody souls,
In pox-marked droves,
And dug up glitter,
Plowing the Earth,
Building structures skyward,
Towards our
Green fabric God.
I own the senate,
And will soon be killed,
And Caesar? I am one.
An American one,
That came and saw,
And conquered all.
