Uthando

Umphefumulo wami usuze waythola intokozo yawo
Izinyawo zami zifikile ezweni lesethembiso
Ngizwile bekhala bethi uthando alusekho
Ngibabonile bewa begingqika bethi balandela indlela
Bethi enameva indlela izobaholela othandweni lweqiniso
Ngahleka kancane ngoba eyami ibinoju lwezinyosi
Eyami ibimtoti, ithandeka yangiholela othandweni olumnandi
Ngamubona eqhamuka emoyizela engimthandayo
Ngamubamba isandla ngamsondeza ngammanga
Wayizwa inhliziyo yami idukuza ijabule
Wawuzwa umphefumulo wami ulangazelela ukuba angihole
Sandiza saya kwelothando ifu
Wagezeka umoya wami ngihleli nowami
Pho yini engiyobuye ngiyidinge kwelikaMthaniya izwe
Ngoba nansi indlela yeqiniso ethunyelwe nguMdali
Nantu uthando lwemuka nami, sivunguvungu ngihole
Phela uyisivunguvungu esibushanelile ubuthakathaka bami
Watshala imbewu yothando enhliziyweni yami yakhula
Ngizokunika izimbali ezibomvu sezimilile
Phela ebomvu ivela ngaphakathi enhliziyweni yami!

Sifiso Hlophe

I’m a Poet, I’m an African child spreading African stories in foreign tongues. A soldier of Words, a blacksmith of the new truths. I write, I shine, I perform I shine, I share I shine, I administer I rise, I’m up, they rise and they follow, I lead Words into greener pastures, I lead the world into the unfavorable truths. I am Sfisoh The Poet, born of this world and raised by the Words, fed on my pen and scribbler, my meals are everlasting. Welcome to the world of Lines. After all, I Am The Poet. more…
