Crouched on the floor
So vulnerable and scared
Her hair in turmoil
So wild with red

Her skin puckered and patterned
From the beating she once received
Her once flawless body ruined
As she sat there and grieved

The pain was too much to take
So much to handle
Scarred on the inside
Something she wouldn't be able to hide

The pain she went through
Just expanded and grew
Nowhere to put it
