Unseen

Pushing and pulling the world in a way even they are unaware of
They sleepily float about on the golden sea of life, peaceful and free
No words, no possessions, no war not even forms to hold them to this world
Simply light, brilliant and pure
All of it meaning nothing, for our dark eyes fail to see
We covet, we wage war, we greedily hoard
And each day our souls growing darker
But the light takes no notice, for its vision is also blinded
It sees nothing but the grandeur of its world and the beauty of its life
