Universal Love~

As we explore the barriers of self realization,
we need 2 deflect from the self hatred temtation.

bcuz if we cnt luv ourselves then we cnt luv the world
n tho we may nt c it thats important as girls.

As young women we're nuturers we're meant 2 guide souls,
ones who lose their way we're suposed 2 help those.

War goes around us n we thingk that it's gud
try 2 blame on the fact that we grew up in the hood.

But rly thats nt it we're jus tryna fit in, so long as it's kool we'll follow in sin.
But dnt let ne1 down u bcuz of ur race,
beauty will nvr b sumthing ufind in a face.

We're all individuals but we can all b gr8,
it's simply about wat u bring to the plate.

There wnt b any progresion if we all stand alone
we dnt even hav 2 sing on the same tone

You can speak 2 a beat, dance 2 ur own drum
so long as a beautiful song is wat we become

Universal luv is an expression of harmony
but nt necessarily forcing urself to conformity

We hav 2 find a balance b-tween ourselves and unity
So that our gr8ness can develope consistantly

The world defines love as any # of emotions
rel8ed to a strong sense of affection and a notion

Well i hav 2 disagree n i think this is where our problem lies
bcuz we dnt kno wat luv is 2 define it every1 tries

But u cnt define God He's sumthing our minds cnt fathem,
that doesnt mean however in our hearts we cnt hav Him

Thru drugs n abuse
we can still b strong
Thru rape n mockery
we cn still b strong
Thru the distrust tht comes w/ all of our problems
we hav luv...n therefore we cn b strong
