Understanding

p*ss there a difference in what each religion beleives?
How do we say to each other that we can live together,
Peace seems like a dirty word in some cases.
I asked the Rabbi once which I should join -
He told me, a Presbyterian that they just have
Names that differ and the beliefs are pretty similar.
"It is a club, pick one." I smiled, knowing somewhere
My grandfather who was Jewish was seeing this.
I want to try to use my skills to change the way
We see each other. We are all 99.9 % the same.
We speak different languages and pray to a higher power.
I think we can learn to accept each other as brothers and sisters
Through learning about how our spirituality is learned and followed.
I cannot bear the thought that a friend of mine who speaks Russian
Would be treated differently than the way Jesus treated followers.
I worry that we do not try to understand all religions.
