Two Sides Pt. 2

R L

Allyson

So much has happened,
in these two short months,
passion and love, depression and hate.
Here's the other side not seen, nor told.

I've told them I loved you,
love in the purest of state.
I've told them you're my passion,
you're my drive, my art, everything worthwhile.

In my anger, I have sacrified and lost so much,
acted immature, acted like an angry child.
The times I broke up with you, out of anger,
the verbal abuse, soon I'll reveal you the truth.

I told you my deepest secret,
and about it's emotional toll, corrupting me,
though it doesn't justify my actions, I'll still tell.
The secret is, I was raped as a kid, my own living hell.

The pent up depression, confusion,
the constant feeling of unwanted,
a constant feeling of not being enough.
Resided deep inside my head, clashing with emotions.

Which is why I'm seeking help,
seeking better control, to disperse suicidal thoughts.
Not letting depression or anger guide my choices,
for my heart truly beats deep within you.

Don't tell them anymore,
as I will do the same.. Tell them no more,
because I'm the one to blame.
Once you go, please never ever turn around.

I don't want you to remember,
the tears that I'll weep upon the ground.
Please do not worry, or have any fear,
You can't hate me if I'm not here.

-- Just know, I will never lose faith, or give up on love.
