Tomorrow the Sun Will Shine

She smiled wryly,
Watching the storm outside her window.
The wind viciously lashing on
the pretty red maple tree.
The dark cloud look ominous, angry.
She pressed her face on the cold glass window.
Looking for temporary relief,
as hot tears flow, seemingly endless.
Her chest felt raw..that pain again.....
Shredding Her inside to pieces.
She willed it to go away,
catching her breath, sobbing in defeat.
Angrily brushing away tears,
wishing she can forget.
Hoping that like the storm,
everything will be over soon.
Washed away by rain, Cleansed away by these salty tears in her lips.
Tomorrow everything will be bright and beautiful again.
This Earth, this girl, this heart.
Soon, the sun will shine again.
