To Touch The Fire Burning So Bright

Can it be true can you feel the fire burning so bright
The one inside my heart where you left it alight

The burning flame ignited from deep within
To scold and burn away my undying sin

Tis true you have stayed a 100 years
To dampen the fire and all my fears

Why stay and cover a wicked soul like me
Has God spoken...Is this his decree

Please go far away, please release me
My heart so pained with misery

Someone said they still loved me today
Then disowned my heart and walked away

I thought I knew what life was about
To always talk and work things out

But now I'm left without a doubt
How love can be fickle can harm and shout

So I wish to burn from inside out
There' nothing left my tears are nout...
