To rush in a fight, at the man Rasul Gamzatov

* * *
To rush in a fight, at the man
There are only two worthy reasons.
And the first: the native land protection,
The border whose before the foe is closed.

The second - the debt that the ancestors will,
To all men it rules:
Yourself risking, protect a women,
As on the duels of a Pushkin times.

That a song to sing, from a century at the man
There are only two worthy reasons.
And the first: the love to the native land,
Which has entered to us into the flesh and in the blood
And has become a star unextinguishable.
The second is to the woman love!

* * *
