Timid Watchers

Malignant fears alive
Flashing lights consume
All the calm is just mine to embrace
Untitled dreams compromised
Darkening times, just fine
These dreams are made from the only thing in sight

In my sight
The only thing in my sight
Before we choose
We fade

My entire life is forced open
Their malicious thoughts give them right
All these untitled images flying through
Their steps are all in tune
Their incomplete suspicions give them fight
These dreams are made from the only thing in sight

In my sight
The only thing in my sight
Before we close, we chose
Before we fade, we're made
In my sight
There's only one thing in my sight

Matthew Main

I write when I'm bored. I write when I feel inspired. I write when I feel I must. My writings are about whatever you want them to be about. It means more to me, what my poems mean to you. If that makes any since. My inspirations for writing are music. The main musical influences on my writing are the bands, Scars on Broadway, and System of a Down. more…
