Time, The 4th dmension

I FEEL THE HOURS PASS AWAY
EACH SECOND'S THEFT A CRIME,
FROM MARCH TO APRIL TOSSED TO MAY
YOU CANNOT TURN BACK TIME.

above the mystic rain touched skies
the trees are silver skinned,
the ancient mountains strong and wise
the howling of the wind.

I BLINK AND BREATH, A DAY IS GONE
MY NIGHT A LIGHTNING STROKE,
MY FOOTSTEPS LEFT BEFORE THE SUN
WITHOUT THE LIGHT I WOKE.

winter steps out, cold and haunting
she stirs old memories,
calling voice, a tune enchanting
Taught by centuries.

I RUN A RACE AGAINST EACH CLOCK
THE CALENDAR A BOARD,
WHERE CHESS IS PLAYED UPON EACH BLOCK
WITH KING AND KNIGHT AND SWORD.

soft birdsongs in the evergreens
the pines with fragrant fur,
the woods with stainless lily queens
within the shadows stir.

I WALK IN CIRCLES WITH MY MIND
TO ARGUE ONCE AGAIN,
YET THERE I LEFT MY HEART BEHIND
WITHIN MY UNMOVED PEN.

smooth crystal surface of a lake
where ice lay sleeping sound,
a mirror that the sun will take
and melt into the ground.

I FEEL THE MOVING IN MY HAND
WHILE WILL WITH REASON FIGHT,
A THOUSAND WISHES THAT DEMAND
MY SOUL WAS BORN TO WRITE.
