Time to move on

he was a grate love
 the best I ever had
 but now I can see
 his love was never true
 because if he loved me
the way he said he did
 then he would have never
 left me feeling so blue
 he would have never
 tossed me to side like
 I never meant anything
or ripped my heart in to
 a million little pieces
 where it can never
 recover from all the
 pain he has caused.

I feel as if he came into
 my life knowing he would
 get everything he wanted
 only to leave me feeling
like I have nothing left to gain.
I am over all his head games
it is time for me to move on
 never to look back on
 the memories we shared
nor the love I thought was true
