That gut feeling of regret-she feels it now filling her insides, it's hard to ignore all the previous thoughts that come rushing back. Was he the one she had always been looking for? Well it's too late now, even if that was true, no turning back only room to move forward. Or is she only thinking of him because reality has struck and loneliness has finally set in? It's almost impossible to tell but it hurts netherless. She wishes she could go back before it all began, back to when they were just friends, back to when it was simple until her heart forced her and she clearly lovestruck. And now her brain gets to laugh in her face, telling her it didn't help at all. Well that's how life goes, she guesses. Mistakes are made and lessons are learned and you can't go back, you just have to deal with the pain.
