This Vessel Is Yours

Mind a preference to wander,
In your propensities to edify;
Find own inclination to ponder,
As well as a desire to identify.

A diamond derby of splendor,
Rising in exemplary example;
Juxtapose my timid surrender,
By side in it's meager sample.

My modest entreaty genuine,
Summoned supernally exact;
Upon the heart's torus align,
Gift of energy to magnify act.

Render this vessel testament,
To a reality of love's dynamic;
Reciprocal factors then sent,
Expand in limitless panoramic.

Fasten me as single sentinel,
Among the scattering arrays;
Beacon of manifest potential,
To cast light in darkened days.

Amen.

Tracy Bollinger

Always liked to write and have written poems periodically over the years. I've never shared them withanyone except for immediate family. Decided to take the plunge and put some out 'there'. But bearwith me, I don't really know what I'm doing. This is therapy of sorts and I hope to let go of the need to rhyme. It's a mental condition.
