This little sister

THIS LITTLE SISTER

Well I had a sister
my little sister
she was called Sue
one of those few
robbed from her birth
of most of her worth
my poor sister Sue
try as she might
and she put up a fight
she wasn't "all there"
some people would stare
oh the hurt that she felt
though I did try to help
well she grew
but we knew
time wasn't on her side
though never did we hide
the facts from her face
oh what a beautiful face
and when the time came
for her to lie down and die
my eyes again welled
and I yet again cried
for my sister Sue
so all I ask of from you
don't decry people like Sue
for this could have happened to you
then tell me what would you do?
