The world is yours

Stand up tall and spread your wings,
Survey the world and what it brings,
Over the desert plus mountains and rocks,
There's no limit if you disregard clocks.

Watch each sunrise and study the skies,
Wonder and dream about your next surprise,
Savour the beauty that God doth provide,
Accept any blessings with humbleness and pride

Roam at random on your pathway to fame?
Satisfy your fantasy and let it sustain,
Cultures and traditions people and places,
These and more will leave indelible traces.

Wisdom and knowledge is based on trust,
Collectively you gain after the settling of dust,
Friends and companions built as you go,
Will last forever and continue to grow.

Enjoy your travel as you surely will,
Opportunity it knocks and carries on still,
Soon you'll accept a challenge rare,

Face a future you have yet to declare.

I find it is a good way to record events of the day and bring history to life. The mental aspect is a balance against keeping fit, work and life in general. more…
