The True Story of A to Z

(While lying in my bed, these thoughts came in my head.)
Prince A fought off a giant B.
He sailed across the widest C;
There he was left so D - E - F
Until thought came to him, G!
His mind's eye opened on H - I,
Where he followed a blue J,
Which set his course, oh K?
Then he climbed the shear ledges
And scaled the mountain peaks
Of the mighty L-M-N-O-P.
After he regained his Q,
He discovered what desires R.
He slew the serpents of S
And still took time for T,
Which he offered to share with U.
Beyond the valleys of the deep V - W,
The criss-crossing maze he did X it.
Just as he began to wander Y,
He first beheld princess Z.
Prince A king became,
And princess Z queen.
Now that A N Z R 1,
I hope you've enjoyed my pun!
