The Sun

Why can I not contain my animalistic urges in front of you?
Why do you render all my resistance useless?
You crush every trace of my precaution
Mercilessly
Skillfully
Beautifully
You lay me bare
Rip off all of my pretenses
Display all my feelings
I wish to conceal them
Like a thief in the night
Hiding and lurking in the shadows
Then you, the Sun,
rises
