The Smile

I see you standing with a smile
Your eyes wide open with a glare,
My heart is escaping from my chest
Just before I look at you and stare.
I gaze upon you with due respect
With no bad blood within my veins,
But to look at you in the light of day
I begin to feel a break in my chains.
Around you I have no need for anger
No need to feel unhappy in any way,
Because while you are with me
It is within the moment I want to stay.
