The Silliest Poem I’ve ever Written
I’m just an itching person,
Wherever I go,
Fleas are following me.
Oh Lord, won’t you let me be free!
The other day,
I was driving down the highway,
Can’t drive, but I was driving all the same,
When I saw this flea,
He was hitch-hiking.
Oh Lord, won’t you let me be free!
So I stopped and said,
You can jump right in,
There’s room for more,
And that’s what he did, saying,
Oh Lord, you’ve set me free!
I’m just an itching person,
Wherever I go,
Fleas are following me.
Oh Lord, won’t you let me be free!
