The Right Love

Linda Parks Owens 1952 (Rockingham, NC) – 2012 (Rockingham, NC)

Sometimes things can go so wrong
Even when the love is really strong.
Tears stream from eyes like winter rain.
Hearts can break from feeling such pain.
We long to recover what we once had
But there is no cure for love gone bad.
We just have to stay on the road ahead
And find someone else to love instead,
Don't look back for you will surely cry.
Or spend the rest of your life asking why.
Then one day you will be sure to find
A love that's both true and also kind.
And you will know it will always be true.
Because it's the one that God made for you.
