The Reckoning

You have no love for our land
niether the fruit groves nor the desert sand
you just need to own it all
and keep us out with your very big wall.

The wall is large and long
you made it so big and so strong
but this message I need to impart
it's not as strong as the walls around your heart.

This land you will not even share
you have no desire to be fair
from our homes you have locked us out
and you shoot us if we even shout.

Helicopter gunships target our homes
other times you send in the drones
no matter how many people you kill
we will continue to pay the butcher's bill/

Your theft and oppression is not so clever
as you cannot keep killing us forever
there will be a day your schemes will fail
and on that day you will pay O Israel.
