the raven

The vile stench of ravens' blood, the sound of death surrounds

Evil lurks upon a soul, in lines that circle round

Through cadence of this blackbird howl, the sound is one to fret

Through eyes of blackened fowl, destiny is set

Pools of blood reflect the light, of all that is to come

Ravens' perched up on the sky, devouring the some

A bird of prey shall be the end, as blood does hit the ground

The end of life is all that's true, for does not make a sound

Murders of the foul, they gather on up high

Peering down on to the flesh, through their blackened eyes

Pure at heart without a soul, instinctively aware

Pray has fallen to the ground, in all of its despair

The time has come, the end of some, devouring the soul

The flesh does rip, the Raven sits, upon this empty hole

For now you see, what has to be, the end of nature's wrath

Peering through, the eyes of you, this is the ravens path.
