The Rain Falls As The Tears Did

It's only appropriate that on the first anniversary of your passing
The rain falls as the tears did one year ago
It's not any easier today then one year ago either
Yes I still cry and I miss you as much as ever
You were like a son to me
No one has ever touched me with the ease that you did
you gave me so much and I hope our dept is even
I only wish I could of told you how much I loved you
East Cost , You are my son
I know that this first year has been difficult for us all
Luke still talks about you every day
Brad caries your school I.D with him every where he goes
And Jesse asked about you and wants to watch the video tapes
Of your time with us
Sissy and I still cry knowing we will never have
Another friend like you
That day took ten years and slammed them down on me
Oh how I cried
I cried and I cried and I cried the tears will always fall
It started raining this morning as it did that day
Just about the time everything started one year ago
Tonight I will light candles through out my house in your honor
good by my son
