The powers of 2009

Two-Thousand Nine,
A year full of shine and divine,
2009, a year full of powers, for
2009 =12^3 6^3 4^3 1^3 =10^3 10^3 2^3 1^3
=4^3 6^3 9^3 10^3= 1^3 3^3 2x4^3 5^3 12^3=1^3 2x5^3 3x7^3 9^3.
As we exit the fog and foul plays on Wall Street,
To enter a new street where skin colors transcend,
To see history mend with a US president.
2009, a year full of powers, for
2009=7^4-2^3x7^2=6^3x2^3 6^3 4^3 1^3=28^2 35^2=4x4^3 2x8^3 9^3
As we exit a year of war and terror,
To enter a path of peace and love mirror,
To hear the whispers of harmony and cheers.
2009, a year full of powers, for
2009=3^7-2^7-7^2-7^0=6^3x3^2 2^6 1^6=2x1^3 3^3 5^3 7^3 8^3 10^3
As we exit a year of energy and credit crunch,
To enter a trail of power and efflorescent bunch,
To smell the fragrance of Utopian punch.
2009, a year full of powers, for
2009=41x7^2=12^3 10^2 8^2 6^2 3^4= 1^3 2x3^3 4^3 6^3 7^3 11^3
= 2^3 3^3 6^3 3x7^3 9^3=2^10 2^8 3^6.
Come with me to welcome 2009,
A year of powers, hope, yours and mine,
A year of fragrance, opulence and history twined.
